SGS Rowing Association to Hold Annual Meeting

The annual business meeting for member parents of spring and fall rowers will be held on Weds. February 29th, 2012 in the Price Chopper Community Center located at 1640 Eastern Parkway Schenectady 12309.

We will start promptly at 7 p.m. and finish no later than 8:30 p.m. Nominations from the floor and election of officers and directors for 2012 will proceed followed by a brief power point presentation regarding the club. Remaining time will be spent by new and returning parents to meet, form carpools where needed, and plan committee work details for the spring season.

High School rowers have begun training but it is not too late to register for this spring season sport.  Modified rowers will tentatively begin the week of dock in day, most likely in early April. Another recruiting session for modified rowers is being planned for the week of March 12th.

Registration is online at Regatta Central. Go to our website at www. sgsrowing.org for detailed information on how to register for spring rowing.
